Layering Guide

Layering - this is how you can create your own, unique scent

Welcome to our guide on layering, a creative way to combine two or more perfumes to create a unique scent that is fully your own.

What is layering?
To layer perfumes means to apply the scents in layers, which gives you the possibility to experiment and find new, lovely fragrance combinations. The scent also becomes very personal. It is a method that has its roots on old perfume traditions, but has gained more and more popularity in modern times.

How do you do it?
Choose your fragrances: Start by selecting which perfumes you want to combine. Remember that there are no set rules - it's all about yor own sense of smell and preferences. We usually recommend around two to three fragrances for the best results. Se our tips further down...

Apply in layers: Start by spraying one perfume, let it set for a couple of seconds, then apply the next one. You can keep alternating between the scents, depending on how many layers you want or which scent you want to be the most prominent.

Experiment: Try different combinations to find what suits you best. We usually recommend to start with the heavier and deeper of the fragrances that you have selected, but have a go and see what you like best! Some love the combination of vanilla and citrus, while some might prefer a mix of floral and woody scents.
